The set consists of a turned barrel with a muzzle brake and a resin mantlet and photo-etched parts. A turned co-axial MG34 machine gun barrel is included.
Comparing with Soviet tanks, such as T-34 or KW-1, was painful for German tank crews. It proved they needed more effective tank gun, which would be an equal match in the vast Russian steppes.
KwK 40 L43 was the first version of a new long barrel gun made for Pz.IV tanks. Our set contains a muzzle brake typical for version F2. We made it basing on blueprints.
The mantlet is corrected: we made some welds on it and made the diameter bigger.
