Hull Hatch Detail Set (DML Panther G Smart Kit)#16308

Mastered by Scott Negron, this detail set was designed to fit the new DML Panther G smart kit. You get 18 finely detailed and cleanly cast resin pieces designed to directly replace the DML kit parts, as well as a detailed instruction sheet illustrating the proper assembly of this set. Building on TMD item number 3516307, we have added even more detail than plastic manufacturers can deliver. Our new hatches have the recessed bolt holes and casting numbers on the hinge assembly, improved weld bead detail and different casting textures on the two pieces that made up the hatch assembly on the real vehicle. All of these details are missing on the DML pieces. Our detail set also includes additional improvements over the DML pieces, including a more finely detailed counter balance assembly with the full spring detail the DML pieces are missing and new wooden hatch stops with mounting bracket, fine wood grain and mounting screw details. This detail set also includes the spring clip that holds the hatch handle: a piece that is poorly represented in the DML kit. This hatch set will add an extra measure of realism - even to a smart kit.
